The simplest way to validate PDF signatures using separate checksums is simply to pass in a signature set which must be a subset of the signature sets supported by the DCC library. A validating agent will check all validating signature(s) and return a True if all signatures are valid, False otherwise.

The signature validation API uses an optional checksum parameter to detect differences in an PDF document's checksums. The examples in this section demonstrate several of the capabilities of DCC: to validate signatures, to verify signatures (with different checksums) and to verify PDF files with different digital signatures.
